Enid, OK — The funeral for Kenneth M. Schoeling, 83, of Okar-che, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at St. John�s Lutheran Church, Okarche. Pastor David Ersland will officiate. Burial will be in St. John�s Lutheran Cemetery, Okar-che. Arrangements are by Sanders Funeral Service Inc., Kingfisher.
He was born Nov. 9, 1926, in Fairmont to Erhardt and Paleen Fricken-schmidt Schoeling and died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at Mercy Health Center, Oklahoma City.
He attended Garber High School. He entered the Navy Nov. 24, 1944, during World War II.
He married Erleen Luber Jan. 14, 1948, at St. John�s Lutheran Church, Okarche.
He was a farmer and held several offices at St. John�s, where he was an elder and usher. He also served as a member of Okarche school board.
Surviving are his wife, Erleen, of the home; one daughter, Karen Manuel of Oklahoma City; one son, Dale Schoeling of Edmond; four brothers; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Memorials may be made to the charity of donor�s choice.
