Enid, OK — The graveside service for Freddie Wayne Harmon, 78, of Pineville, Mo., will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at Pineville City. Arrangements are by Ozark Funeral Home, Anderson, Mo. Family visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

He was born Sept. 19, 1931, in Aline to Claude E. and Clara Pearl Stevens Harmon and died Wednes-day, Nov. 11, 2009, at Golden Living Center, Anderson.

He was a 1949 graduate of Cleo Springs High School. Following graduation he moved to Colorado, where he worked on area farms and drove a truck.

He married Betty Jean Blum Dec. 16, 1952, in Brush, Colo.

They moved their family to McDonald County, Mo., in 1961. In 1966, he founded Harmons’s Plumbing and Electric Service, retiring in 2007. She died Feb. 9, 2009.

Surviving are four daughters, Betty Jo Browning of Pineville, Patty Findling of Neosho, Mo., Judy Harmon of Olathe, Kan., and Cindy Buchite of Pineville; two sons, Adam Blum of Thornton, Colo., and Ernie Harmon of Ames; one sister, Mattie Wilcox of Enid; two brothers, Bobby Harmon of Sun City, Ariz., and Buddy Harmon of Enid; 21 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
