DeWayne Mac Reamy

The funeral for DeWayne Mac Reamy, 55, of Woodward, will be 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 9, 2009, at Billings Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be 3:30 p.m. in Albert Joseph Powell Cemetery, Hominy.

He was born Jan. 23, 1954, in Shidler to Royce and Lavarro Mac Horton Reamy and died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, in El Reno.

He graduated from Ponca City High School in 1972. He served in the Air Force and was honorably discharged in July 1977. He went to work in the oil fields for Unocal. He married Caren Sue Harrison Aug. 5, 1983, in Hominy. They moved to Woodward in 1989. He worked for an off shore drilling company for a short time and started his own company, DeWayne Reamy Consulting Inc., in 2004.

Surviving are his wife, Caren Reamy of Woodward; his father, Royce Reamy of Bristow; two sons, Scott DeWayne Reamy of Stroud and Chad Harrison Reamy of Stillwater; one daughter, Andrea Erin Ford of Bartlesville; three brothers, Brian Reamy of Stroud, Royce Dean Reamy of Davenport and Steve Cruzenburg of Hominy; five sisters, Valerie Richards of Broken Arrow, Pam Caddell of Sand Springs, Patty Noble of Coweta, Jerry Reamy Carns of Hominy and Patty Bottom of Tahlequah.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, heart research.
