The funeral for Helen Blanche Hamilton, 94, of Alva, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, at Wharton Funeral Chapel, Alva. Jason Gaisford will officiate. Burial will be in Haskew Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:30-8 p.m. today at the funeral chapel.
She was born Jan. 8, 1915, near Woodward to Mary Devous and Joe Dunn and died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at Beadles Nursing Home, Alva.
She married Clarence Hamilton Nov. 12, 1928, in Woodward. He died Sept. 1, 1963. They made their home in the Burlington and Capron area.
Surviving are one daughter, Beverley Wyckoff of Warren, Mich.; one son, Ray of Houston; and 17 grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Clarence, she was preceded in death by two sons, four grandsons, two sisters and three brothers.
