The funeral for Volita Fern Fry, 87, of Hennessey, will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, at Union Chapel Church. The Revs. Fred Jones and Duane Roever will officiate. Burial will be in Hennessey Cemetery. Arr-angements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Henn-essey.
She was born July 1, 1922, east of Hennessey to Albert and Florence Haymaker Ricks and died Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at Hennessey Care Center.
She was a member of Oak View Grange and Dover Christian Church.
She married Bert C. Fry July 1, 1940, in Hennessey.
Surviving are one son, Ronnie Fry of Hennessey; one daughter, Janice Fry of Hennessey; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Dover Christian Church building fund.
