Enid, OK — A private family burial will be held for Wanda Marie Stong, 83, of Seiling. Her body was cremated at her request. Arrangements are by Redinger Funeral Home, Seiling.

She was born Sept. 11, 1925, west of Clayton, N.M., to William and Minnie Doris Spriggs and died Friday, June 26, 2009, at her home.

She was raised and educated in Seiling, graduating from Seiling High School in 1943.

She married Harold Leroy Stong July 5, 1942, in Seiling.

Surviving are two sons, Rick Stong of Piedmont and Brook Stong of Norman; two daughters, Raynell Wein of Pecos, Texas, and Cindy Young of Oklahoma City; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, and two sisters.
