The funeral for Edna Marie Yost Privott, 79, of Omega, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at Sanders Funeral Chapel, Kingfisher. The Rev. George Givens will officiate. Burial will be in Kingfisher Cemetery.
She was born Sept. 19, 1929, on a farm near Omega to John and Vina Castonguay Yost and died Friday, June 19, 2009, at her home.
She was a graduate of Omega High School.
She married Eugene “Ike” Privott Feb. 21, 1948, in Clinton. She lived in the Omega area all her life and was a member of the Christian Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Sheila Verhimes of Chickasha and Denise McMillan of Fort Collins, Colo.; two sons, Olin Privott of Kingfisher and Terry Privott of Watonga; one sister, Alta June York of Kingfisher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ike, two brothers and four sisters.
