CALDWELL, KS —
Funeral for Alta Mardis, 97, will be 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at Central Christian Church, Caldwell, Kan. Burial in Caldwell City Cemetery. Arrangements by Schaeffer Mortuary, Caldwell, Kan.
Alta was born Dec. 26, 1915, in Jay, Okla., to George L. and Electa E. (Mapes) Terry and died Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, in Caldwell, Kan.
She married Otto Jayc Cash Dec. 18, 1930. They had three daughters, Lucille, Louise and Lottie. He died in June 1961. Alta later married Henry Wencl and LeRoy Mardis. Both deceased.
Surviving are three daughters, Lucille, Louise and Lottie; 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great- grandchildren.
