ENID —
Ronald Dean Dunlap was born April 18, 1934, in Coldwater, Kan., to James Haskell and Nora Jane (Elliott) Dunlap.
He grew up in Enid, Okla., and attended local schools.
He entered the United States Navy and was stationed on the USS Intrepid aircraft carrier. He was a Korean War veteran and honorably discharged in 1956.
He was united in marriage to Ann Felton on Oct. 12, 1956, in Enid, Okla. They made their home in Enid before moving to Lewisville, Texas, in 1972.
Ron worked for American Optical in Enid and Dallas, Texas, for many years.
In 1974, he became a long-haul truck driver and drove for several years, retiring as a school bus driver for Durham Transportation in 2008 in Lewisville, Texas.
In his leisure time he enjoyed functions with the VFW, dancing, hunting, camping and boating with his family and friends in area lakes throughout Texas and Oklahoma.
Ron died Friday morning, Feb. 3, 2012, surrounded by his loving family in his home.
He was preceded in death by wife, Ann Dunlap; sister, Faye Webb; brother, Bob Choate; and his parents.
Ron is survived by his son, James S. Dunlap and wife Lennis of Flower Mound, Texas; son, Brian D. Dunlap of Lewisville, Texas; granddaughter, Lesley A. Atwood and husband Jeff of Flower Mound, Texas; grandson, James D. Dunlap of Lewisville, Texas; granddaughter, Ashley L. Dunlap of Flower Mound; brother, Bill Choate and wife Pam of Hydro, Okla.; and many other relative and friends.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. today, Feb. 7, 2012, in Memorial Park Cemetery, Enid, Okla. Arrangements by Dalton & Son Funeral Home, Lewisville, Texas.

David Glenn White, 60, died Monday, April 30, 2012, at JPS Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born Jan. 1, 1952, in Beaver, Okla., the son of Glenn Hubert and Donna Ruth (Phelps) White.
He graduated from Liberal High School, Liberal, Kan., in 1970. -

Kim Errol Hungerford entered life on July 31, 1951, at General Hospital in Enid, Okla. It was a proud moment indeed for his parents, Ken Allen and Marilyn Hungerford, as he was the first of their seven children. He wasn’t an “only” child for long, and was soon joined by Kip Len, twins Chris Lee and Craig Alan, Kirk Jay, Candace, and finally, the youngest, Colette. -
