ENID — Memorial visitation for Frankie S. Burris will be 2-4 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2013, at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel. The Cremation and service are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

She was born Nov. 4, 1934, in Mulberry, Ark., to Ezra and Mary Wilbanks. She was raised and educated in Mulberry.

She moved with her family to Wichita, Kan., where she met the love of her life, Dwight “Okie” Burris. The couple was married Sept. 17, 1952, in Wichita.

After Dwight’s honorable discharge, the couple moved to Torrence, Calif., for 10 years. They made their home in Enid in 1971. She was a true matriarch and family supporter.

She is survived by her children, Mary Susan Estes, Alfred D. Burris, Terri Lyn Lavicky, Tim Burris and daughter-in-law, Rhonda Faye Parrish, all of Enid; her grandchildren, Frankie Unruh, Alice Cunningham, Mickey Cunningham, Temo Montoya, Steven Montoya, Amber Burris, Jo Ann Burris, Jessica Conyers, J.R. Burris, Ashley Burris; and 12-plus great-grandchildren. She also is survived by one sister-in-law, Verna “Tootie” Burris of Enid.

She was preceded in death by her husband.
