ENID, Okla. —
Funeral for Master Sergeant Justin Raye Diel, 39, U.S. Air Force, formerly of Enid, will be 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at Central Christian Church, Enid. The Revs. Don Johnson and Col. Gordan Jantz, USAF retired, will officiate. A private burial will be in Karoma Cemetery, Goltry. A memorial service is 2 p.m. March 8, 2013, at Hurlburt Chapel, Hurlburt Field, Fla. Local arrangements by Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
Justin was born May 31, 1973, in Enid, Okla., to Jimmy Raye Diel and Cathie Lea Thornburgh Whipkey. Justin died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, in Navarre, Fla.
Upon completing graduation from Helena-Goltry High School in 1991, Justin entered the U.S. Air Force in 1992.
He married Natalie Lucretia Diel Sept. 29, 2006, in Navarre, Fla.
MSgt. Justin Diel was an aerial gunner on MH-53 helicopters and AC-130U gunships. Justin retired from Hurlburt Field, Fla., in 2012.
Surviving are his wife, Natalie of Navarre, Fla., and their children, Brianna Renee’ Diel and Savannah Rose Diel; his parents, Jimmy Raye Diel and wife Judy of Drummond, and Cathie Lea Whipkey and husband Harold of Higgins, Texas; sisters, Casie Lea Brownlee and husband Kyle of Enid, Okla., Kristina Ann Redman and husband Nathan of Edmond, Okla., Kimberly Dawn Scrogin and husband Chris of Corning, Ark.; stepbrothers, Ron Whipkey of Kingston, Okla., and Roger Whipkey of Lubbock, Texas; stepsister, Makayla Booze of Enid, Okla.; and grandmother, Irene Harguess of Enid, Okla.
Justin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ivan Diel, D.L. Harguess, Berniece Thornburgh and Lavern Thornburgh.
Pallbearers are the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard. Honorary pallbearers are Eric Card, Chad Grebb, Jim Gerhart, Steven Foust and Mike Jenson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wymer Brownlee, Diel Scholarship Fund, 110 N. Independence, Enid, OK 73701.

Floyd 'Ty' Lytle II

Ty was born to Kenneth Wayne and Mary Bess (Spencer) Lytle on May 22, 1960, in North Kansas City, Mo., and died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at his home in Enid. -
Douglas Lloyd Champlin
Douglas Lloyd Champlin of Gardnerville, Nev., died peacefully on Monday, May 20, 2013, in Scottsdale, Ariz., after a brief illness of cancer. He was born Jan. 9, 1941, in Enid, Okla., to Joe Noble and Jane Edwards Champlin.
He is survived by his wife, Laurel Raether Champlin; daughter, Christa Hampton and husband Cobey of Cave Creek, Ariz.; daughter, Claire Woolsey and husband Cole of Reno, Nev., and Cassidy Champlin of the home; six grandchildren; sister, Joanna M. Champlin and husband Shawnee Brittan of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and many nieces, nephews and beloved friends all over the world.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents and beloved brother, H.H. “Bud” Champlin, formerly of Enid, Okla.
As a young boy growing up in Enid, Okla., Doug developed a love for history and the military. He became a collector at a young age of toy soldiers, guns, and just about anything he could get his hands on related to history. -
Harold H. Jantzen
The graveside service for Harold H. Jantzen, 80-year-old Newton, Kan., resident will be 3 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2013, in the West New Hopedale cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. The Rev James Suderman will officiate.
Harold was born Oct. 31, 1932, in Bessie, Okla., to Henry K. and Frieda (Froese) Jantzen and died Sunday, May 19, 2013 in Newton, Kan. After graduating high school he attended Grace Bible Intitute and the Bethel College. He then attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where he obtained his master’s degree. He then earned a specialist’s degree from Emporia College. -
James M. Dillard
Memorial service for James M. Dillard, 61, Pilot Oak, Ky., will be 3 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2013, at Byrn Funeral Home Chapel, Mayfield, Ky. Abe Leonard will officiate.
James was born Sept. 5, 1951, in Fairview and died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at home.
