ENID, Okla. — Funeral service for Leola Frances Milhime will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in West New Hopedale Mennonite Cemetery, Ringwood. Visitation 7-8 p.m. today, Dec. 5, 2012, at the funeral home.

Leola was born Nov. 18, 1919, to Sam and Lena (Johnson) Smith on a farm north of Ringwood and passed Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at her home in Enid.

She graduated from Ringwood High School.

On Aug. 3, 1944, Leola married Jerry Milhime.

She worked at K-Mart for 20 years. After retiring, she became a foster grandparent for 20 more years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one great-grandson and two sisters.

Leola is survived by her daughter, Beverly Milhime of the home; son, Jerry Milhime and wife Martha of Texas; granddaughter, Denethea Caleb and husband Solomon; two grandsons, Shawn and Jeremy Milhime; nine great-grandchildren; four sisters, Vivian Jantz, Enid, Beverly Strange and husband, F.A., Choctaw, Naomi Turk, Bay City, Mich., and Charlene Berg and husband Dean, Helena; as well as many nieces and nephews.
