PONCA CITY — Raymond Lloyd “Butch” Hazen, 85, Ponca City, was born June 28, 1927, in Ponca City, the son of James Walter and Beulah Mae Patterson Hazen, and passed away peacefully at his residence.

He was a lifelong resident of Ponca City, working as a machinist for Nickles Machine.

Survivors include Butch’s wife, Wanda, of the residence; sons, Allen and Albert Hazen; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; sisters, Pat Meeks and Gerry Corrall and Frances Townley, both of Ponca City, and Helen Bishop and Shirley Awalt, both of Sacramento, California.
