ENID, Okla. — Funeral service for Margie Darlene Caywood, 72, will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at Cherokee First Baptist Church with the Revs. Tom Cooksey and Don Angle officiating. Burial will follow in Cherokee Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Goodwin Funeral Home, Cherokee. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home with the family present from 6-7:30 p.m.

Margie was born Aug. 7, 1940, in Cherokee the daughter of Otto and Alvina Coss Williams and went to be with her Lord Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, Enid.

She spent most of her school years in Salinas, Calif.

After moving back home to Cherokee from Salinas, she worked with her parents in the Dinette Cafe. She later owned and operated the cafe. She then purchased and operated the Waffle House Cafe in Cherokee.

She and Mike Caywood were married April 30, 1965, in Cherokee, where they made their home. He preceded her in death.

Margie enjoyed cooking for others and was well known for her cinnamon rolls and Christmas candy. She enjoyed participating in her children’s and grandchildren’s activities, such as livestock shows, rodeos, basketball and football games.

She was an active member of Cherokee First Baptist Church and really enjoyed Training Union.

Surviving are two daughters, Shelly Cunningham and her companion William Bradford of Drummond and Tammy Nelson of Enid; twin sons, Rickey Caywood and wife Gail of McAlester and Mickey Caywood and wife Debbie of Lexington; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Virgil Williams; great-aunt, Bertha Teagarden; brother-in-law, Jack Moody; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Otto Eugene; three sisters, Ada, Maxine and Bertha, and her parents.

Memorials may be given in her memory to Therapeutic Equestrian Association through Goodwin Funeral Home, Cherokee.

Service for Mr. Earl Herman Rivenburg, 82, of Gilmer, Texas, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer, with Pastor Kerry Roy officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today, May 17, 2013, at the funeral home.
Mr. Rivenburg passed away on Monday, May 13, 2013, at Wesley Oaks Memory Care Center in Sulphur Springs, Texas, from complications of pneumonia.
He was born Dec. 6, 1930, in Peabody, Kan., to Hugh and Elizabeth Rivenburg.
Earl was their fifth and final child, as his mother died shortly after his birth. He was given to a hired hand and his wife to raise and unfortunately, his was not a happy childhood.
At an early age, he set out on his own and was taken in by Emma Seifert as a farmhand in Carrier, Okla., where he graduated from high school in 1948. It was here that he met and married his first wife, who bore his two children.

Mary was born May 27, 1915, in Kansas City, Mo., to William Edward and Mary Etta (Paradise) Major and passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at The Commons in Enid, Okla.
She grew up in Kansas City, Mo., graduating from Central High School in 1932.
She married her high school sweetheart, Elton Whitfill, on June 8, 1935, and celebrated 72 years of marriage before his passing in 2008. She was also preceded in death by a great-grandson.

He died Monday, April 15, 2013, in Houston, Texas.
He worked as a field service engineer for General Electric in Oklahoma City, Enid, and Houston.

Lisa was born July 9, 1960, in Clinton, Okla., to Thomas Francis Lee and Maymie Limpy and died Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Sparks Hospital, Fort Smith, Ark.
Lisa graduated from high school in Eufaula, Okla. She was a homemaker for her family.
