ENID, Okla. — Funeral service for Jeanette Gregg will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at College Hill Church of Christ with Rev. Ron Pingelton officiating. Interment will be in Hardtner Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home, Alva.

Jeanette Gregg, daughter of the late Perry Otto and Constance Anna (Book) Clothier, was born May 13, 1925, in Peace Creek, Kan., and passed away Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, in Alva, Okla., at the age of 87 years, 6 months, and 7 days.

Jeanette graduated from Stafford Junior High in 1941, and Hutchinson High School with the class of 1944.

On Aug. 9, 1948, she was united in marriage to Allan Murra Gregg in Great Bend, Kan. She made her home in Hutchinson, Iuka, Larned, Kiowa and Hardtner, Kan., before moving to Alva in 1994.

She was a member of College Hill Church of Christ. She loved to cook and sew things for her grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Allan; one brother, James Clothier; and one granddaughter, Connie Jean Warrington.

Jeanette is survived by daughter, Vickie Warrington and husband Russell of Hutchinson, Kan.; son, Kent Gregg and wife Verlinda of Alva; brother, Rex Clothier of Marion, Kan.; four grandchildren, Traci Tritsch and husband Jon of Wichita, Tammi Warrington and Tonya Warrington, both of Hutchinson, and Angela Lyon and husband Mitchell of Enid, Okla.; five great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funer al home to Share Convalescent Center Activity Fund.
