ENID, Okla. — Funeral service for Phillip Skaggs, 62, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Vernon Lee will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Family visitation will be 6-7 p.m. today at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Phillip was born Sept. 27, 1950, in Pasadena, Texas, to Gilbert and Anna May White Skaggs. He passed away peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Greenbrier Nursing Home, Enid, Okla., with family and friends present.

He attended Enid Public Schools, graduating in 1972.

He was a longtime resident of High Point RV Park and could often be seen helping out around the park.

Survivors include one brother, Clifford Skaggs and wife Charolette; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Micheal Skaggs.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love or Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, cancer division.
