Funeral for Marilyn Smart, 81, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel, Alva. Burial 2 p.m. Thursday in Overland Park, Kan.
Marilyn was born Aug. 4, 1931, in Argentine, Kan., to late Roy and Lillian (Neely) Cathy and died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, in Alva.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister.
Surviving are husband, Don; daughter, Lisa Darbe; sons, Timothy Smart and David Smart; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
