Bobby Jack Buchanan, 67, Ponca City, was born June 22, 1945, in Ada, Oklahoma, the son of Carl and Pauline Elliott Buchanan, and passed away peacefully Monday morning, October 1, 2012, in Ponca City.
He lived in Sulphur, moving to Oklahoma City, where he graduated from high school. Bobby was a lifelong trucker, working for Perry Redimix, Groendyke Transport and Morton Buildings.
Survivors include daughter Shelley Moorman of the residence; son Ricky of Newkirk; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers Ronnie of Midwest City and Gary of California; and half-sisters Brenda and Marlene.
The family has accepted Hospice of North Central Oklahoma as appropriate for memorial donations, with the Stittsworth Family serving as custodian of the funds. Remembrances may be shared at www.stittsworthfuneral services.com.
