Bolerjack to perform Sunday



Blake Bolerjack will be in concert during the morning worship service Sunday at Calvary Baptist Church, 831 E. Broadway. Lunch will follow the service. Bolerjack also will be in concert following the lunch. Call 478-5340 for information.







Community of Believers to meet Sunday at FUMC



The Community of Believers will meet at 6 p.m. Sunday at First United Methodist Church, 401 W. Randolph.

Enid Public School Superintendent Shawn Hime will speak on his relationship with God and his passion for Enid Public Schools.

Community of Believers is made up of several churches in the Enid area who come together once a month for a unified worship service.







Potter Church to dedicate new building Sunday



The new Potter Church dedication will be Sunday. Church services begin at 10 a.m. A potluck dinner will be at noon followed by the dedication and fellowship at 1:30 p.m. The dedication is in conjunction with the annual Potter reunion.

The original Potter Church, located in the southeast corner of Garfield County, was built in 1905 on land donated by the William Hebbe family.

In 1955, a fire destroyed the building but was rebuilt.

On May 24, 2008, a tornado destroyed the building. Thanks to donations and national publicity, the church has been rebuilt once again.
