Enid Allstate agent awarded
for his volunteerism
Exclusive Enid Allstate Agent David Burrows received the Agency Hands in the Community award for his commitment to helping others in his area. With this award comes a $500 grant from The Allstate Foundation for YMCA of Enid & Garfield County, where Burrows volunteers.
“Allstate is proud to help YMCA of Enid & Garfield County with its cause,” said Denis Bailey, field vice president for Allstate’s Southwest region. “The grant from The Allstate Foundation will provide much needed assistance for its efforts. We believe in supporting programs to strengthen the communities where we live and work.”
Through the Agency Hands in the Community grant program, Allstate agents and personal financial representatives are recognized for outstanding commitment to community service with a $500 donation to the charitable organization where they volunteer. To qualify for the grant, agents and personal financial representatives must show evidence of volunteer work that has been a positive impact on the local community.

Woodward resident earns
promotion with Passion Parties
Jennifer Patrick, a Woodward resident and independent consultant for Passion Parties — a direct selling company of sensual products designed to promote intimacy and communication between couples — was recently promoted to the executive manager level within the company.
Patrick began working with Passion Parties in March 2008.
Stamper attends training in OKC
Cresta Stamper, victim advocate at Enid’s YWCA Crisis Center, attended training on economic empowerment for victims of domestic violence Jan. 14 in Oklahoma City. Provided by the Oklahoma Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, the training taught advocates how to redeliver Allstate Foundation’s “Moving Ahead Through Financial Management” curriculum which is designed to help survivors move from safety to long-term security by developing a better understanding of assets, income, debt and liabilities. The Allstate Foundation supports survivors through resources targeted to build financial independence and educates the public on how hard it is for people to leave an abusive relationship without economic resources.
Wymer Brownlee adds two more
employees, promotes another
Wymer Brownlee Tax and Financial Management has hired Heather Jackson as the Enid front office manager and Chelsey Williams as the Fairview client service coordinator. Jackson brings 10 years of extensive customer service experience to the firm. She received a bachelor of science degree from Oklahoma State University. She will be the first point of contact as clients enter the office and be responsible for managing the front office. Williams brings five years of customer service experience to the firm. She’s currently working on her bachelor’s degree in accounting and business at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She will ensure office organization as well as maintain client relations in the Fairview office.
In addition, Andrea Murphy has been promoted to associate tax advisor. Murphy brings five years of public and private company financial statement audits and customer service experience to the firm. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business with an accounting emphasis. She will assist in preparing tax returns as well as assisting in the preparation of W-2s, 1099s and financial statement compilation.
