Stephanie Zimbleman has been named Associate of the Month for December 2009 at Northcutt Chevy-Buick-Toyota, 3201 W. Garriott.
Zimbleman has been with Northcutt accounting department for two years. Her duties in accounts payable are demanding, yet she is always accomodating to customers and co-workers, according to her supervisors. She has an excellent work ethic and rises everyday to each new challenge, they said.

Devoll named to OBA Board of Governors
Oklahoma Supreme Court Chief Justice James Edmondson swore in Enid attorney Glenn A. Devoll to the Oklahoma Bar Association Board of Governors on Jan. 15 in the Supreme Court Courtroom at the State Capitol Building in Oklahoma City.
Devoll will represent Judicial District Four, which is Alfalfa, Beaver, Beckham, Blaine, Cimarron, Custer, Dewey, Ellis, Garfield, Harper, Kingfisher, Major, Roger Mills, Texas, Washita, Woods and Woodward counties.
He is a shareholder and director of the Enid-based law firm of Gungoll, Jackson, Collins, Box and Devoll PC. Practicing primarily in the Enid office, he also is active in the firm’s Oklahoma City office.
He received his undergraduate degree in business administration from Central State University in 1974. In 1977, he received his juris doctorate from Oklahoma City University and was admitted to practice that same year. A native of Altus, he has lived in Enid since 1978. His practice is focused primarily in the areas of oil and gas, banking, commercial transactions and litigation pertaining to those areas of practice
Most recently, he has served on the Oklahoma Judicial Nominating Commission and also served as a past president of the Garfield County Bar Association (2002), is a past Garfield County delegate to the annual Oklahoma Bar Association meeting and convention, is a Fellow in the Oklahoma Bar Foundation, member of the Energy and Natural Resources Law Section (formerly Mineral Law Section) of the Oklahoma Bar Association and past chairman of the Mineral Law Section (1986-87). He has worked on the Garfield County Bar Association Law Day Committee, the Joint Industrial Foundation of Enid and has assisted the Enid High School Constitution Team.
Strope joins Carter HealthCare
Jennie Strope, RN, has joined Carter HealthCare.
She graduated from Northern Oklahoma College with an associate degree in nursing. She is experienced in hospice, medical/surgical and neurology nursing. Strope is a member of the American Nurses Association and the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association.
Enid nonprofits participate in
Standards for Excellence training
Several Enid-based nonprofit organizations joined the ranks of Standards for Excellence graduates this December. Standards for Excellence (Standards), a program offered by the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits, empowers nonprofits to excel in their governance, management and operations.
“Because we receive a portion of our funding from the taxpayers of Enid, it is imperative that we are following the letter of the law as it pertains to nonprofits in Oklahoma,” said Brent Kisling, executive director of Enid Regional Development Alliance. “We are grateful to the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits for offering this program and would encourage other nonprofits in our area to participate.”
The Enid graduates of the program include: Booker T. Washington Center, Community Development Support Association, Hedges Regional Speech & Hearing Center, Leonardo’s Discovery Warehouse, Rural Health Project/NWAHEC, United Way of Enid & Northwest Oklahoma and YWCA of Enid.
As Standards graduates, these organizations completed 16 hours of training which will help them promote transparency and accountability within their organizations. Standards emphasizes the core values of honesty, integrity, fairness, respect, trust, compassion and responsibility.
Rick’s Pharmacy now open
Rick’s Pharmacy, 811 W. Randolph, has opened. Locally owned and managed by Rick Hill, the pharmacy is located one block east of Van Buren.
Hill was a pharmacist in Enid for 25 years before moving to Tulsa in 2007 to open a pharmacy for OU College of Pharmacy on the Schusterman campus. He returned to Enid in 2009 to start his own business.
He is joined by Billie Ruth Shields, a local pharmacist with 43 years experience; Angill Hobbs, a pharmacy technician with 16 years experience; Kenda Case, a pharmacy clerk with with three years experience; Mike O’Banion, who has 23 years experience in inventory control; Renee Turner, who is serving as office manager; Herb Green, a delivery driver with 12 years experience; and Jan Hill, who will be serving as a clerk, bookkeeper and delivery driver.
