Schminke receives Life & Health

Masters award from Thrivent



Darla J. Schminke, LUTCF, FIC, a financial representative with Red Carpet Team of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans recently received the Life & Health Masters award for superior performance in uncovering her clients’ financial needs through the Thrivent Financial advisory process. To qualify for this honor, Schminke helped clients’ identify solutions that helped them protect their future and improve their financial position.

Schminke, who lives in Marshall, serves Lutherans and their family members in Enid and the surrounding communities.



Turnbow joins RoseRock Bank



Jason Turnbow has joined RoseRock Bank in Enid as a commercial loan officer and corporate marketing director. He, along with his wife and two children, recently moved back to Enid from Oklahoma City, where he has been with the bank since 2002.

Born and raised in Enid, Turnbow graduated from Oklahoma Bible Academy then earned a degree in business administration from Oklahoma State University. He previously has served as chairman for the Oklahoma Bankers Association’s Marketing Committee and co-chairman of American Cancer Society’s Cattle Baron’s Ball. He is a member of Leadership Greater Enid’s 19th class and a member of Grand National Quail Club.

for 3rd quarter sales



United Country Real Estate, headquartered in Kansas City, Mo., has announced United Country – Lippard Auctioneers, located in Enid, was the No. 5 office in the United Country network for closed sales for the third quarter of 2009.

Garcia is SNB Employee of the Quarter



Angel Garcia has been named Security National Bank of Enid’s Employee of the Quarter for the third quarter of 2009. 

Garcia has been with Security National Bank for three years and was hired as teller. Since that time she has been promoted to corporate and personal online banking consultant. She also is a back up to the wire department.

Garcia is a graduate of Enid High School and graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Spanish. She is in the current Leadership Greater Enid class. She and her husband, David, have two children.



Tagge, Randall attend

annual partner meeting



Dale Tagge and Dan Randall from the Enid office of BKD, LLP recently attended the firm’s annual partner meeting in St. Louis. In conjunction with the partner meeting, one day was devoted to a tax update and a second day covered topics for specific industries.



Burghardt attends banking school



Stacy Burghardt, an underwriter at Central National Bank in Enid, recently completed Oklahoma Bankers Association (OBA) Consumer Lending School.

The school is conducted annually and educates students on the overall consumer credit function and helps them develop an array of skills to meet the needs of loan customers.
