Anderson-Burris receives award
Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory received the “Pursuit of Excellence” award at the National Funeral Directors Association International Convention and Expo in earlier this month in Charlotte, N.C. This is the second year in a row Anderson-Burris Funeral Home has earned the prestigious award, which places it among the top 2 percent of funeral service providers.
To earn this award, a funeral home must go above and beyond the normal standards in the funeral business. The recognition assures families they will receive high-quality service.
Richard and Monte Burris accepted the award on behalf of the funeral home. They also attended workshops and educational sessions covering cremation, personnel, social networking, marketing, body preparation and other topics. The workshops were presented by the funeral industry’s top experts offering in-depth knowledge and solutions. At the expo, there were more than 400 exhibits featuring the newest products and ideas.
