Newsom named to top advisers list

Joe Newsom, an Edward Jones financial adviser in Enid since 1980, has been named to Barron’s magazine’s list of the “Top 1,000 Financial Advisors in the United States” for a second-consecutive year. He ranked No. 3 among Oklahoma’s top advisers this year, up five spots from his No. 8 ranking last year.

“The Barron’s ranking is a widely respected list of the nation’s pre-eminent financial advisors, so this is an honor and testament to Joe’s dedication to his clients,” said Edward Jones Managing Partner Jim Weddle.

“Entrusting someone with your long-term investment advice is a considerable decision, so I’ve always taken my commitment to my clients and helping work toward achieving their financial goals very seriously,” Newsom said. “This recognition is a tremendous honor, because it’s about what matters most — my clients.”

Newsom’s branch office is located at 2601 N. Van Buren. He and his staff, Senior Branch Office administrators Pam Wiederkehr and Debra Eichenauer, can be reached at (580) 234-1495.
