Marty Major retired from Farm Credit of Enid in January after 30 years with the association.
She was hired in 1980 after she and her husband, Bob, moved back following his retirement from the Air Force.
Over the years, her responsibilities included everything from typing up loan papers to bank posting and teller services to loan review and compliance issues.
“Our job descriptions were never static. That made it fun,” Major said.
She and her husband recently moved to Yukon and plan to divide their time between there and St. Louis, visiting their family, which includes two married sons, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
