Redelsperger takes partner position at BKD
Jon Redelsperger has been elected partner at BKD LLP.
“Jon has the passion and ability to take on any challenge, whether it is serving our country, which he was deployed to Iraq, or figuring out how to solve a client’s complex tax issues,” said Todd Lisle, BKD managing partner. “This is an important career milestone that brings with it additional opportunities and challenges.”
Redelsperger delivers unmatched client service, embraces change and shows dedication to the firm’s values and the accounting profession, Lisle said. Redelsperger assumed his new role Friday.
Career paths at BKD are divided into levels, and each position is defined by its own set of duties, responsibilities and competencies requiring cumulative and advanced degrees of education, training and experience. Personnel also must demonstrate their leadership abilities as coaches and mentors, as well as active community members. New partners are elected by the firm’s partner base and ratified BKD’s Governing Board.
Redelsperger serves clients in the BKD National Financial Services Group and is a member of the WealthPlan team. He currently provides tax planning, consulting and preparation services for individuals, auto dealerships, financial institutions, construction contractors and transportation companies. He is a 1994 graduate of Oklahoma State University, with a B.S. degree in agricultural economics and accounting.
