Donaldson awarded designation

MALVERN, Pa. — Kristina E. Donaldson recently was awarded the professional insurance designation Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter by The Institutes.

The Institutes are an educational organization that confers the CPCU designation on persons who complete eight rigorous courses and examinations and meet its ethics and experience requirements. All CPCUs are required to maintain and to improve their professional knowledge, skills and competence through their commitment to The Institutes’ CPCU Code of Professional Conduct.

Donaldson also is a recipient of the President’s CPCU Scholarship. This award, developed by The Institutes, is designed to recognize high performing individuals within the property-casualty insurance industry. The scholarship covers the cost of CPCU textbooks, course guides, SMART Study Aids, and exam registration fees.

Donaldson began her insurance career in 2003 as a customer service representative for Messer-Bowers Company in Enid, where she currently is a Commercial Lines Account Manager. She is active with the Insurance Association of Enid (a local association of the International Association of Insurance Professionals) since 2004, including service for two terms as local association president.
