Taco Mayo’s Enid location is expected to reopen Friday following extensive renovations that began June 25.
The restaurant, at 118 N. Van Buren, is the 14th Taco Mayo to covert to the new Fresh Mex menu featuring create-your-own burritos, nachos and salads. The new menu still includes most of the longtime items such as crispy beef tacos, soft beef tacos, bean burritos, tostadas, taco burgers and potato locos.
“The new Fresh Mex Taco Mayo has been a huge success over the last 18 months as we continue to re-image many of our restaurants around the state,” said Randy Earhart, Taco Mayo chairman and CEO. “We have developed a very loyal customer base here in Enid, and we are excited to upgrade this restaurant to our newest image. We are focused on serving the finest products in our segment and providing the best service in town.”
The restaurant also will feature a double drive-through lane with two windows for faster service. Inside, the restaurant features a salsa bar with fresh-made salsa and Coca-Cola’s new “Freestyle” beverage machine, which offers more than 125 drink choices.
Taco Mayo is headquartered in Oklahoma and was founded in Norman in 1978.
