He was born Nov. 27, 1929, north of Ames the son of Forest “Doc” and Versa Cokeley.
He graduated from Ames High School in 1949.
He married Jean Walton Nov. 29, 1952, in Blackwell. He worked three years for Hudson Engineer, 11 years for Adams and BrentLinger, 11 years at Vance Air Base and 15 years for Farmland. He is a member of Emmanuel Baptist, Pioneer Lions Club and Men’s Extension Garden Club.
His children are Teresa and Terry Bese, Plano, Texas, and Tony and Rhonda Cokeley, Terrell and Jana Cokeley and Tammy Mull, all of Enid. He has seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Tyree, 88
Paul Tyree, of Canton, was born Nov. 17, 1921, in Dewey County. He will celebrate his 88th birthday.
