Baker, 80

Richard Baker will celebrate his 80th birthday Wednesday with family. Cards may be sent to Rt. 3 Box 34, Aline, OK 73716.

Richard was born Jan. 23, 1933, on the family farm northwest of Carmen, the son of Ralph S. and Opal (Strode) Baker.

He is a graduate of Carmen High School and a 1952 graduate of Enid Business School.

He married the late Leta Joan Coons Feb. 7, 1953.

He farmed and ranched in Enid, Blackwell and Carmen before moving to the farm near Aline in 1960. He attends Aline First Christian Church.

His children are Kenneth Baker and wife Paula of Aline, Keith Baker and wife Jerri and Cindy Hurst and husband Terry, all of Cleo Springs. He has seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.



Landwehr, 95

Edna Landwehr will celebrate her 95th birthday with a family dinner. Cards may be sent to P.O. Box 804, Waukomis, OK 73773.

Edna was born Jan. 27, 1918, in Duncan,  the daughter of Truman and Olga Johnston.

She married Marvin Landwehr April 15, 1939, in Waukomis. He died March 7, 1977.

She is an active member of Waukomis United Methodist Church, a member of the No. 1 Polka Club, and a member of Eastern Star.

Her children are Karen and Larry Williams, Waukomis; Truman and Sandy Landwehr, Enid; and Stuart and Debbie landwehr and Roy and Vicki Landwehr, all of Waukomis. She has six grandchildren, one stepgrandchild, 13 great-grandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren.



Becker, 80

Alice Becker will celebrate her 80th birthday today with a family dinner. Cards may be sent to 5801 N. Sandy Dr., Enid, OK 73703.

Alice was born Jan. 19, 1933, in Orienta,  the daughter of William and Alma Wahl.

She is a 1952 graduate of Fairview High School.

She married Robert Lee Becker Aug. 24, 1951.

Alice was a teachers’ aid for 18 years at Cherokee Park School.

She has been a member of Enid First Nazarene Church for 60 years.

Her children are Garry Becker, Sheryl Reid and Rhonda Tappan, all of Enid. She has two grandchildren.
