Heer, 96

Dorothy Heer celebrated her 96th birthday with a surprise reception for family and friends Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Civitan Homes.

Dorothy was born in 1916, in Nash, Okla.

She is a graduate of Jet High School.

Her children are Judith Kliewer, Sun City, Ariz., and Dixie Scott, Lucedale, Miss. She has one grandson, two granddaughters and four great-grandchildren.



Grace, 93

Willa Mae Woodbury Grace will celebrate her 93rd birthday Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012. Cards may be sent to 221 W. Cherry, Enid, OK 73701.

 Willa was born Aug. 5, 1919, in Antlers, to Walter and Amanda Randolph Lebow.

 She was raised in the Ames community, graduating from Ames High School in 1937.

 She married  Roy Woodbury June 24, 1939. He died in January 1984.

 She married Leo Grace May 27, 1992.

 She owned and operated Woodburys Monogram Shop, starting in 1945. She is known in Enid and many surrounding areas for making award patches and banners for the schools.

 Willa has one daughter, Sharon Johnson and husband Jim, and three stepsons, Calvin Grace, Bill Grace and wife Beth, all of both of Enid, and Tom Grace and wife Janet of Ashville, N.C. She has one grandson, 12 stepgrand-children, two great-grandchildren and 24 stepgreat-grandchildren.
