Gragert, 85

LaVern H. Gragert celebrated his 85th birthday with family Feb. 9, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Cards may be sent to 1111 Canterbury Road, Enid, OK 73703.

LaVern was born Feb. 10, 1928, in Douglas the son of Fred and Dora (Meyer) Gragert.

He is a 1946 graduate of Garber High School.

He married Opal Heim May 23, 1948.

He worked for Oklahoma Natural Gas Co. for 37 years and is a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

His children are Kris Ann Young, Paula Adlek and Ruth Walton. He has eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
