Wheatheart Nutrition Project serves a hot noon meal Monday through Thursday. Meal sites are Southern Heights, 5th and Wabash, and Open Door Community Center, 125 S. Main, Waukomis.
Monday: Chicken and noodles, seasoned green beans, carrots, biscuit, tropical fruit.
Tuesday: Egg sausage casserole, breakfast potato cubes, Mandarin oranges, coffee cake.
Wednesday: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes with gravy, peas, whole wheat, fruit crisp.
Thursday: Polish sausage with macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, oven friend okra, white roll, cookie.
