Wheatheart Nutrition Project serves a hot noon meal Monday through Thursday. Meal sites are Southern Heights, 5th and Wabash, and Open Door Community Center, 125 S. Main, Waukomis.
Monday: Smothered chicken, parsley potatoes, California blend, whole wheat roll.
Tuesday: Hamburger stew, pickled beets, crackers, fruit cocktail cake.
Wednesday: Sausage patty with gravy, hashbrown casserole, half an orange, biscuit, cinnamon roll.
Thursday: Ham and potato chowder, salad mix, crackers.
Friday: Closed.
