Wheatheart Nutrition Project serves a hot noon meal each weekday. Meal sites are Southern Heights, 5th and Wabash, and Open Door Community Center, 125 S. Main, Waukomis.
Monday: Ham and beans, tomato relish, spinach, cornbread, cookie.
Tuesday: Beef and noodles, carrots, cabbage, whole wheat roll, cake.
Wednesday: Baked potato with chili and cheese, fresh veggie medley, crackers, peaches.
Thursday: Pig-in-a-blanket, pineapple coleslaw, potato salad, brownie.
Friday: Chicken enchilada casserole, ranch beans, Mexicorn, tortilla chips, tropical fruit.
