Wheatheart Nutrition Project serves a hot noon meal each weekday. Meal sites are Southern Heights, 5th and Wabash, and Open Door Community Center, 125 S. Main, Waukomis.
Monday: Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, whole wheat roll, pudding.
Tuesday: Taco soup, tossed salad, tomatoes with dressing, tortilla chips, ice cream.
Wednesday: Sliced ham, sweet potatoes, winter mix, oatmeal roll, chilled fruit.
Thursday: Spaghetti with meat sauce, green beans, French bread, double orange Jell-O.
Friday: Hot turkey sandwich with gravy, mashed potatoes with gravy, peas and carrots, bead, pumpkin bar.
