Ellis, 80th



Shirley Ellis will celebrate her 80th birthday with a family dinner at the home of her daughter in Wichita, Kan. Cards may be sent to 1314 West Thompson, Enid, OK 73703.

She was born Nov. 26, 1928, in Earlsboro to William L. and Madeline Mallams.

She graduated Barnsdall High School in 1946.

She married John P. Ellis Feb. 14, 1946. She worked nine years at JC Penney, nine years at Mistletoe Express, and 19 years at Beaver Express, retiring in 2006. She is a member of St. Gregory Catholic Church.

Her children are Charlotte Bush, Kingwood, Texas; Diane Roberts, Wichita, Kan.; and Paula Mann and Michele Green, both of Enid. She has eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.



Milhime, 89



Leola Milhime will celebrate her 89th birthday with family and friends today. Cards may be sent to P.O. Box 1124, Enid, OK 73702.

She was born Nov. 18, 1919, on a farm north of Ringwood. She is a graduate of Ringwood High School.

She is retired from Kmart and volunteered in the Foster Grandparents Program as a foster grandmother in Enid and Fairview, retiring in 2002.

Her children are Jerry Milhime, Mansfield, Texas, and Beverly McKinney, Enid. She has six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.



Rodenberg, 80



David Ervin Rodenberg will celebrate his 80th birthday with family.

He was born Nov. 25, 1928, in Drummond the son of Ervin and Emma Rodenberg.

He attended Barr Grade School, south of Drummond, and graduated from Drummond High School in 1947. He has farmed and ranched since he was a teenager and currently is semi-retired. He married Mitzi Miller May 21, 1960. They have lived all their married life in Drummond.

His children are Mark Rodenberg, Drummond, and Lori Rodenberg, Enid. He has four grandchildren.
