Wheatheart Nutrition Project serves a hot noon meal each weekday. Meal sites are Southern Heights, 5th and Wabash, and Open Door Community Center, 125 S. Main, Waukomis.
Monday: Barbecue chicken breast, JoJo potatoes, peas, whole wheat roll, pineapple tidbits.
Tuesday: Sausage patty, diced potatoes, orange half, biscuit with gravy.
Wednesday: Frito chili pie, buttered corn, ranch beans, Fritos, tropical fruit.
Thursday: Spaghetti, tossed salad with tomatoes, green beans, garlic bread.
Friday: Dinner frank, potato salad, sauerkraut, sliced bread, red Jell-O with applesauce.
