St. Joe’s fundraiser slated



St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School will host a fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday at Wings To Go, 2316 W. Garriott.

Fifteen percent of all proceeds go to the school if customers name the school when they order.





Schwan’s to host fundraiser for 4RKids



Community members interested in supporting 4RKids can shop for cook-at-home meals during a Schwan’s truck sale noon to 6 p.m. Saturday near Hollywood Video on W. Garriott.

4RKids will receive up to 20 percent of purchases made during the sale. For information about the event or to place a pre-order to be picked up the day of the sale, call Pat at (580) 542-6200 or Theresa Sharp at (580) 977-7479.





Ticket sales begin



Enid Shrine Club is sponsoring The Plummer Family Nov. 14 in Enid and ticket sales have begun.

Haystack Productions, a Duncan telemarketing company, is calling potential supporters. For ticket information call (580) 252-3607.





Eastern Star fund drive set



Enid Chapter 36 Order of the Eastern Star will host a fundraiser 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday on the corner of Main and Euclid in Waukomis.

Advance Foods and McDonalds will sponsor the event and hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and drinks will be available for purchase.

Proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House.





Western literature class set



A class on Western literature begins Sept. 4 and will cover Jesse James, Doc Holiday and Wyatt Earp. Cost for the book is $7.

The class is free and there are no tests. For information on where the class will be held, who will teach the class or to reserve a space, contact Dan Mathews at (580) 278-1295.
