Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Palmer will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a reception for family and friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday in the fellowship hall at First Baptist Church, Ringwood. They request no gifts. Cards may be sent to P.O. Box 123, Ringwood, OK 73768.
Kenneth Palmer and Barbara Shaffer were married Feb. 8, 1958, in Ringwood. The Rev. Lewis Pattison officiated.
He served four years in the Navy. They lived in New Jersey, California, Hawaii and Helena before settling in Ringwood in 1963. He retired from XTO Oil Co. in 2005.
They are members of First Baptist Church, Ringwood, where he serves as deacon and she is the organist.
Their children are Doug and Sherri Palmer and Greg and Lori Palmer, all of Ringwood; and Kenny and Lisa Palmer, Meno. They have nine grandchildren.
