Gage-70th anniversary for 12/03/07

Mr. and Mrs. Leon Gage celebrated their 70th anniversary Nov. 24, in Muskogee with family and friends.

Leon Gage and Avis Estill were married Nov. 24, 1937, in Carrier. He served in the Army in the Philippine Islands from 1945-46 and worked for Dansco Farm Equipment for six years following his discharge. He worked for First National Bank of Enid for nine years and owned and operated the Leon Gage Mobil Service Station for 25 years, retiring in 1977. He is a member of American Legion. She is a homemaker and helped operate the service station. They are members of Willow View United Methodist Church.

Their children are Barbara and David Horn, Shreveport, La.; Edwin and Elaine Gage, Muskogee; and Jim Gage, Carnegie. They have six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
