Wayne and Lois Guffy will celebrate their 60th anniversary with a reception for family and friends from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at the Amorita-Byron Fire Station, Byron.
Wayne S. Guffy and Lois L. Caywood were married Nov. 22, 1947, in Van Buren, Ark.
They have lived on a farm east of Byron for 60 years.
Their children are Connie and Charles Park, Branson, Mo.; Wayne Jr. and Jolene Guffy, Lawton; April and Burton Freeman, Kansas City, Mo.; Jim and Carol Guffy, Byron; Susan and Robert Tyrrell, Kansas City, Mo.; Karen and Christ Mitchener, Oklahoma City; Kathy and Dennis Hasiak, Park City, Utah; David and Kathi Guffy, Martinsville, Indiana; Jon and Becky Guffy, Byron; Owen and Diann, Guffy, Dalhart, Texas; Mark and Beth Guffy, Byron; and Ken and Julie Guffy, Manassas, Va.
They have 37 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.
