Rainbow for Girls travel to New Mexico, Texas
The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls traveled to New Mexico Grand Assembly on June 19-21. Those attending were Tracie Rivers, Grand Worthy Advisor; Janna Pierson, Wife of the Supreme Inspector of Oklahoma; DJ Rivers, Grand Executive Member and Mother; Mary L. Nash, State Mother Advisor for the state of Oklahoma; Dawn Catlin, District 4 Visitor; Betty Williams, Grand Executive Member; Anna Francis White, Mother Advisor; Bud Vaughn; Mary Beth Vaughn, Mother Advisor; Erin Vaughn, Grand Representative to Missouri, and Grand Personal Page to Tracie Rivers; Chelsea Sutton, Representative to Colorado; Tracy Gilliam, Grand Representative to New Mexico and Grand Personal Page to Sheila Bowman, Grand Executive Member.
On June 21-24, Tracie Rivers, DJ Rivers, Janna Pierson, Mary Nash and Dawn Catlin went on to Texas Grand Assembly and meet up with Wendy Gammon, Mother Advisor; Kylee Wray, Grand Representative to Texas from Oklahoma; and Jessica Sutton, Miss Rose Ceremony.
Contestants sought for Rodeo Queen Contest
The kick-off cookout for the Freedom Rodeo Queen and Lil’ Princess Contest will be held at 7 p.m. July 17 at American Legion Park, Freedom. Hamburgers and hot dogs, with all the fixins will be served free of charge, furnished by the Chamber of Commerce. Candidates hoping to reign as Queen and Lil’ Princess for the 70th annual Freedom Rodeo and Old Cowhand Reunion festivities, slated for Aug. 16-18, will be introduced.
