Mr. and Mrs. Gene Sibit will celebrate their 60th anniversary Feb. 22. Cards may be sent to 4202 S. La Mesa, No. 105, Enid, OK 73703.
Gene Sibit and Charlsea Lea Goeller were married Feb. 22, 1953, at the home of her parents in Enid, Okla.
They moved to California during his tour of duty in the Navy and returned to Enid in 1956.
He owned and operated North Enid Ignition for 17 years and later worked for Enid Public Schools at Monroe School.
Charlsea Lea worked at TG&Y, retiring when it closed. She then worked for Enid Public Schools at Waller Junior High. They currently are retired.
Their children are Terry and Barbie Sibit, Enid, and Pam and Duane Duffy, Kingwood, Texas. They have six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
