Franz-50th
Dr. and Mrs. Robert Franz, of Hillsboro, Kan., celebrated their 50th anniversary with a reception for family and friends June 7 at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Chur-ch.
Robert Franz and Darlene Becker were married June 12, 1959, in Grand Island, Neb.
He is a graduate of Enid High School, Phillips University and OU Medical School.
He was a practicing physician in Hillsboro from 1964 to 1984 before joining a group practice in Oklahoma City, where he practiced until his retirement in 2000. She is a registered nurse and worked with her husband in their clinic in Hillsboro for 20 years.
Following their retirement, they returned to Hillsboro.
Their children are Terry and Cheryl Hagen, Hillsboro, and Douglas and Kimberly Walker of Iowa. They have four grandchildren.
