ENID, Okla. —
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Nealis will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a reception for family and friends 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, in the fellowship hall at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 2505 W. Garriott, hosted by their children and grandchildren. They request no gifts. Cards may be sent to 4725 Evandale Dr., Enid, OK 73703.
Tom Nealis and Jean Roberts were married Oct. 12, 1962, at the Potter Community Church, west of Orlando, Okla.
Parents of the couple are Bruce and Carrie Nealis and Jessie and Bonnie Roberts.
Tom worked for ODOT Engineers in Enid for 35 years and Jean worked for ODOT Maintenance in Enid for 27 years. They retired in 1996, spending winters in south Texas and traveling whenever they can.
They are members of Emmanuel Baptist Church and First Home Bible Study Sunday school class.
Their children are Pam and Al Zelaya, Trauco Canyon, Calif.; Mark and Heather Nealis; and Gayle Nealis, all of Owasso. They have seven grandchildren.
