Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Marquardt will celebrate their 50th anniversary Sunday.
Vernon Marquardt and Barbara Moehle were married Aug. 9, 1959, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Carrier.
He worked as a machinist at Hackney Inc., retiring after almost 30 years. She worked at Security National Bank, retiring as head bookkeeper after 30 years.
Their children are Wade and Michele Marquardt, Wichita, Kan. They have one grandchild.
