Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sumner will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a family trip to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. Cards may be sent to 3614 Lakeshore Dr., Enid, OK 73703.
Robert Sumner and Charlotte Hartman were married Dec. 21, 1961, at First Methodist Church in Luther, Okla.
Robert worked for ASCS-USDA from 1961 to 1980. He is the owner and CEO of Horne Oil Co. in Enid.
Charlotte worked for Luther Schools until moving to Enid in 1974, where she began work for Midwestern Life Insurance Co. until 1993, when she opened her first boutique in Enid and Grandbury, Texas, retiring in 2002.
They are members of St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Gregory Alter Society, Chapter 6P of PEO and Grand National Quail Hunt, OPMCA.
Their children are Loren and James Kruger, Angela and Wayne Riddle, Jenny and John Ulm, all of San Antonio, Texas. They have four grandsons and two granddaughters.
