ENID, Okla. —
Mr. and Mrs. George Milacek will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a reception for family and friends 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, in the Fellowship Hall at First United Methodist Church, Enid. Cards may be sent to P.O. Box 372, Waukomis, OK 73773.
George Milacek and Louise Hasbrook were married Aug. 3, 1962, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Enid.
George has been a farmer and rancher in the Waukomis community, as well as an educator for 34 years, teaching at Waukomis, Enid High and Northern Oklahoma College.
Louise taught in Enid Public Schools for 32 years at Eisenhower and McKinley Elementary.
Upon retirement, they have been active in the community, gardening at Adventure Quest and Dillingham Memorial Gardens.
George is a member of St. Francis Church and Louise is a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Their children are Mark and Eileen Milacek, Hillsdale, N.J., and Tim G. Milacek, Enid. They have two grandchildren.
