Mr. and Mrs. Ted Dillard will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a family reception and dinner Feb. 4, 2012. Cards may be sent to P.O. Box 92, Cleo Springs, OK 73729.
Ted Dillard and Marie Lee were married Feb. 3, 1962, at Aline United Methodist Church by the Rev. Chedester.
Ted was drafted out of college to play baseball and played for 10 years with the Yankees, Phillies and Twins. After a career-ending injury, he purchased and operated Dillard Oil Co. until retiring in 2003.
Marie owned and operated Marie’s Hair Fashions for many years and later worked for Dr. Frank Crowe, as well as Farmers and Merchants Bank in Fairview. She continues to work part time for Fairview Chamber of Commerce.
Their children are Jeff Dillard, Cleo Springs, and Jack and Jill Seelke, Ringwood. They have seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
